This is exactly what Beta Testing is for—it’s helped us identify and unlock a part of our model that turned out to be the most challenging to design. Through this process, we discovered that a key feature we built—requiring Indie Authors to create and connect their own Stripe accounts—was not something most authors wanted. Early feedback has been clear: while authors love the platform, they don’t want the burden of setting up and managing their own sales accounts.

So, we’re pivoting! We’re moving forward with a solution that makes us the seller of record, handling all transactions on your behalf—just like Amazon and other major platforms, but without taking a cut of your profits. Instead, we’ll simply add a small per-transaction processing fee (passed to the buyer at checkout) to cover credit card fees that we incur.

We’re excited about this improvement, and we’re working hard to implement it as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience as we upgrade to an even better system for our authors!
